Beyond the framework imposed by certain obligations related to academic life at the Collegium, Fellows may freely organise their research work and other aspects of their stay.

The Collegium's personnel remains at the Fellows' disposal to assist in administrative matters and if need be, to organise collective working sessions or seminars.

Administrative assistants are placed at the disposal of Fellows by the Collegium de Lyon to assist them in preparing the practical details of their stay, including ticket reservation, travel advice, visas, and insurance.

Those Fellows who are accompanied by their family also benefit from close attention to all aspects of their stay:

• Schooling of their children at the Cité Scolaire Internationale, with which the Collegium de Lyon has signed an agreement to receive the children of Fellows under favourable conditions

• Facilitation of administrative tasks

• Course of French as a foreign language

• Translation services
