The Academic Board's role is to evaluate the strategy and research orientations of the Institute of Advanced Studies of Lyon. In particular, it has the responsibility of evaluating candidates' applications. It was changed during the fall of 2011, and it is composed of about fifteen internationally recognised members of the academic community.
